For the event that occurs when this tank spawns, see Arena Opening

Arena Openers would only appear during the beginning of a Match, like Domination, Tag, or Survival, they would spawn right after Arena Closing, they will kill off the existing Arena Closers and will shoot out polygons, squares, triangles, penta's, crashers; etc, the existing polygons would spread, and the Arena Openers would then dissapear. The Smaller version is playable in Sandbox also, when using the \ key several times.

The purpose of a Arena Opener is, as their name implies, they open the server for new matches, they killed off the existing Arena Closers and then they disappear right before any player spawns. However a glitch can happen on Sandbox or Multiplayer Modes, when the player switches to the Playable Arena Openers and tried to kill a Arena Closer, it will spawn in Arena Openers therefore making the server lag out. If the player manages on Multiplayer modes to see a Arena Opener, this means the game is glitched. You cannot be killed by a Non-Playable-Arena-Opener but you can be killed by a Playable, they do 3x much damage as a Annihilator, They have 2 cannons that are stacked on each other, left clicking would fire Arena Closer like bullets, but right clicking would should out random polygons, Arena Openers have no health however they disappear before a player spawns.

Design[]

The Standard Arena Opener features a large circular White Base, with 2 cannons that are stacked on each other making the other unseen. The Arena Opener is the same size as an Arena Closer therefore making it about large as a Dominator, the bullets they fire are about the size of a Standard Arena Closer, and the Polygons they fire are regular sized causing the polygons to spread. In Sandbox it turns blue on color, or red if seen from enemy view, It appears to be only 2x smaller making it better than the playable arena closer, there is currently no other tank or polygon with a white texture.

Technical[]

SPAWNING []

Several Arena Openers (with a maximum of 17) will spawn and ambush the existing Arena Closers after a Arena Closing, Domination or Tag, the Arena Openers will only appear when opening a new server, or a glitch where they don't disappear, the Arena Openers spawn outside the boundary of the map and they will target all arena closers, arena closer's will not move but will die.

BEHAVIOR []

The Arena Opener's priority:

  • Kill the existing Arena Closers after an Arena Closing
  • Spawn in 1 of each polygon and disappear after they spread
  • Stay Hidden from players (unless glitch)
  • Restart the Server

When they attack the Arena Closers, they will continue to fire and fire, and will ram the Arena Closers while during so, Until all Arena Closers are dead, they have no other reason to fire, so they will each spawn in 1 of each polygon and will spin and disappear before any player spawns.

STATS []

The White Arena Opener has:

  • Larger bullet size, same as Arena Closer
  • White Texture of Bullet and Tank
  • (Old Arena Opener) An Unknown amount of penetration (the same penetration as a trap depolyed by a Mega Trapper), and takes at most 2 hits to kill its target, (by any target)
  • The Bullet speed is more than a Maxed Assassin.
  • The Movement speed of Base Drones
  • The Reload of a maxed Basic Tank
  • Infinite Health, unknown to die, only disappears.
  • Cannot take damage by any player, or AC's even.
  • Resistant to Knockback and can spawn in Polygons.
  • (Current Arena Opener), Infinte bullet penetration.

In Sandbox mode, the Playable Arena Opener is bigger than a regular playable Arena Closer, and has the health of a normal tank, there bullets are powerfuler than any other tank and or equal to a a real Arena Closer, which could lead to Abusive behaviour in sandbox parties.

MISCELLANEOUS[]

The Arena Openers aren't targeted by Base Drones at all, they will not kill any Dominators however it is said that if so, the Dominator will turn white and will be on the Arena Opener team, this will cause the Dominators to shoot out Polygons instead of bullets which could crash the server sending no Arena Closers or Openers, just straight up disconnection. There bullets penetrate AC's, this idea was thought by Unnamed_777.
